Willie F. WIATT, 64, died at the Greencastle Hospital 5:30 p. m. Thursday. He had been ill four weeks. He was born Oct 18, 1885, near Roachdale, the son of JE and Julia Slaves Wiatt. He married Mable Rice in 1905 in Brownsvalley. He was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church. Survivors include 3 sons: Leo of near New Market; Isaac of Russellville; and David of Waveland; a daughter, Waneta of Waveland; 3 brothers, Walter of Indianapolis; Clyde of Bellmore and Charles of near Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs Harry Neir of near Greencastle and Mrs. Floyd Kinkead of Bedford. The funeral services were held at the Freedom Church 2:00 Saturday afternoon. The Rev. VanBuren Keyes of Louisville formerly a pastor of the church officiated. Burial was made in Hebron Cemetery, near Russellville.
